You Suck At Parking On The Web

The idea behind multiplayer is simple: Instead of one player trying to park in all the spots on a level, you have up to 8 players competing to be the first to do so. The levels in multiplayer are generally a lot smaller and less challenging than those in the campaign, but there are way more parking spots to fill in the same amount of time. All of that, on top of the pressure of trying to beat seven other players, adds to the chaotic fun of the mode.
You Suck at Parking is an extreme parking experience and the only racing game where your main goal is to stop. Players need to race against the clock as they dash, drift, and drag their handbrakes and slam into parking spots in quick time. There will be over 100 levels that will steadily increase with difficulty the more you park.
The newly announced multiplayer mode will allow eight players to go against each other into a free-for-all as they battle for that sweet, sweet, parking space. More details will be revealed over time, but Happy Volcano are excited to release more information about You Suck at Parking as development continues.
You Suck at Parking is a game where you navigate obstacles before you hit your designated parking spots, while also somehow keeping your cool. You can unlock car keys and parking tokens to purchase new cars and mod your cars. You can climb up the global leaderboards to show off your sweet parking skills. This game will have you experience a constantly growing and forever-changing game where more features for your cars, biomes, tracks and custom features will be added to the roster.
Billed as an \"extreme physics-based parking game,\" You Suck At Parking sees players racing through obstacles including jumps, loop-the-loops, and speed boosts to be the first to a parking spot--though to be successful you'll also have to stop in time to fit in the parking space.
With the recently released Fall Guys proving that competitive games don't have to be too serious to become a hit on Steam, it'll be interesting to see what Happy Volcano does with its frenetic parking game.
Join host Wesley LeBlanc as he rides solo today to showcase a quick glimpse of You Suck At Parking, an upcoming racer with a very unique twist. Instead of racing to a finish line, your objective is stop...in the marked parking stop.
Stopping in a parking spot might sound easy but as you'll soon find out, it's anything but because each track is littered with obstacles such as barriers that immediately destroy your car, magnets aiming to pull you off the track, boosters, jump pads, and more. You must survive through it all in order to reach the coveted parking spot at the end of the road.
All is not as simple as this premise sounds though. Each level is played against a set time limit which can only be extended by parking a car successfully in an allocated space. Although a generous set number of cars is available within each level, they have numerous restraints placed upon them.
Quick spawning of new cars is useful (especially with the clock counting down) but you can soon run out of them. If this was not tricky enough the level designers have come up with all manner of environmental parameters to make map navigation even more difficult as well as antagonists to try and stop you in your parking objectives but more on that later.
The developers have done a sterling job coming up with these ingenious challenges but they must also have an evil streak. Just when it looks like things could not get any harder, they introduce antagonists to contend with. Detection devices will fire missiles at you if you get caught in their beams, magnetic anti-shipping mines will track you en masse, random traffic will block your way or even worse knock you off a parking space, and machines will turn you into a giant ice cube if not avoided (although it is satisfying to slide into a parking space in that state.)
These days, most homes in my crowded neighborhood have multiple cars. Some are clunkers, and people often park their work trucks on the street. An auto body shop on the corner also likes to leave its vehicles in front of my building. In other words, parking spaces are precious.
Four weeks after the launch of ParkingSpotShaming, local blogs began to post about my site. Now, I receive up to 50 submissions a day by email and direct message on Instagram. More come through tags on Twitter or posts on Facebook. I get so many submissions that I can vary the kinds of bad parking jobs I see.
Also, shoutout to the starting screen, which brilliantly and thoroughly encapsulates the vibe and premise of the game. Seeing the title getting wrecked as 30 or so cars try their best to hurl themselves into the parking spot very badly as you see the physics objects just sputter about is so satisfying.
Park the cars in all the parking spots- levels can have around 2 to 5 spots- and the game will admit that You Rock At Parking. Complete them without using any more cars than they are parking spots and you get the elusive Perfect Park.
And yes there is a multiplayer mode where like in real life you must compete for parking space. Or rather, complete the level first by parking at all the spots, or be the player the parked the most cars. Still, there is a possibility where you can nudge, or be nudged, by other players just before the game confirms your parking counts. So you can be a bit cheeky and make others annoyed in some ways. Thankfully once the game counts the car to be parked, it sticks, so no you cannot be trolling everyone on the lobby by repeatedly denying them a car park.
But putting that aside, the sheer creativeness of the levels trying to make you suck at parking is commendable. I am astonished by the sheer amount of ludicrous things the game can throw at you to make your attempts to be a master parker fail. The level designs might be too evil for me, but objectively they are well-designed, creative, and makes you go wow that they can make this many while still feeling fresh.
Players will soon discover if they are bad at parking. How Well, the You Suck at Parking release date has finally been unveiled for September 14, which is just over two weeks from now. The indie driving racing title will launch on PC, Xbox, and Xbox Game Pass on that date, with a PlayStation and Nintendo Switch release scheduled for sometime in 2023. A physical release will also be releasing for all consoles next year. Let's take a closer look at it all, shall we
You Suck at Parking is a top down parking experience that will test your skills. Players will be able to play through both single-player and multiplayer modes as they race against the clock. The goal is simple: players must navigate obstacles and reach a designated parking spot. Simple, right Well, you'll find out over 100 solo and 60 multiplayer levels that will have players dashing, drifting, and using their handbrakes indiscriminately with up to three other players. The multiplayer will also be cross-platform, so players won't have to worry about coordinating purchases on console or PC.
Players will also have the opportunity to climb global leaderboards and discover once and for all how bad they are at parking. If you like customization, you'll have a chance to get into it when you unlock Parking Totems to customize your ride. If you can't park well, you might as well look good, right
If you crash, run out of fuel or stop for too long, your run is failed and the car will stay in that place on the course. While you will start again with a new car, you can however push the old cars into the parking spaces for a completion, so get creative with your solutions! The game will autosave your progress and can replay previous stages to get a parking point you may have missed.
As the name implies, You Suck at Parking emphasis parking rather than driving. Players will need to race against the clock as they dash, drift, and drag their handbrakes as they slam into parking spots in quick time. Over 100 levels will be included with ever-increasing difficulty.
Beyond parking, You Suck at Parking features Car Keys and Parking Tokens. These can provide new cars and customization options. Global leaderboards are also supported to show off your skills. The game will also add more cars, biomes, tracks, and customization options on a regular basis.
Parallel parking is getting its groove back as You Suck At Parking offers up over 100 wild levels of parking pandemonium. Race as hard as you can to the designated parking space and slot yourself in style, whether screeching to a halt after a gravity defying leap, or sprinkling a little Tokyo on your drift around a tight bend (If you seen it, then you mean it then you know you have to go). And with plenty of customization options including wild roof ornaments, vibrant paint jobs and colourful trails blazing in your wake, you can look good while you do it.
You Suck at Parking is a cute but frantic parking game. You drive your car around the levels and park in the designated spots. The challenge, however, is that there is no reverse and if you stop, you park. As such, you buzz around the levels trying to stop in a single spot. At first, this is straightforward, but as the game progresses, the levels include superhot barriers that make you explode on impact, Wind machines that push you off target, and police cars that arrest you with one touch. The game is so much fun and incredibly addictive.
For added personalisation, you can hit the garage to customise your vehicle. Players can change the vehicle type, the paint job, the exhaust effects and much more. A Fortnite-style store and battle pass system allows players to buy and unlock a huge amount of customisations but regular players still have a handful to unlock each season The simple polygon graphics and bright colour palette compliment the gameplay well and the UI enjoys lots of satisfying pops and bloops. The music can get a little weird sometimes but is easy to tune out in the heat of parking.
Overall, You Suck at Parking is pure unadulterated fun. Its precision controls, wacky level design and satisfying completion are hugely addictive. The game can be tough at times (and sometimes feel impossible), but the gradual increase in the difficulty means that it is accessible for both younger gamers and those looking for a real challenge. The campaign is the most fun, but the online play and regularly added levels ensure that you can have new experiences long after completing the one-player adventure. With over 100 levels and a promise of many more being added post-launch, You Suck at Parking is a parking LOT of fun. 59ce067264
